Where do I send my first payment?
Please remit your first payment to 16782 Von Karman Avenue #12, Irvine, CA 92606. If you have received a transfer letter, please read it to see if you still owe any payments to JMAC before working with the new servicer.
Does JMAC Lending have a “grace-period” policy?
Yes. We have a 15-day grace period. Mortgage payments must be received by the 15th of the month.
Can I set-up automatic bill pay for my monthly mortgage payments?
Yes. Please fill out the ACH Authorization Debit Form. Please note that your loan will most likely be transferred to a new servicer within 2 months and we can’t transfer the automatic bill pay information to the new servicer.
Does JMAC Lending accept Electronic Check Payments?
Yes. Please go to our “Forms” tab to complete and send an ACH Authorization Debit Form. [There is no transaction fee for this payment option] Please submit your completed document to our secure site.
Does JMAC Lending accept Credit Card for mortgage payments?
Yes. Please go to our “Forms” tab to complete and send a Credit Card Authorization Form. [There is a $20 transaction fee for this payment option]Please submit your completed document to our secure site.
If I paid more on my payment, where does the principal reduction get applied to?
The principal reduction will reduce your principal. If your loan is in the process of being transferred to a new servicer, we will send the principal reduction to the new servicer.
I have sent my mortgage payment to JMAC Lending but should have been sent to my new servicer, how is my payment going to be credited?
We can do one of two things (1) void and send the check back to you or (2) forward the payment on your behalf to the new servicer.
Does JMAC Lending have an online portal for borrowers?
We currently don’t have one in place. We are working on having a servicing platform in 2011.
1098 QUESTIONS
When do you send out your 1098 statements?
We send the statements out at the end of January.
I have not received my 1098 Interest Statement–can I be emailed an electronic copy?
Yes. Please email a request to our Servicing Team and they will send you a copy through a secured email.
If I have received multiple copies of the same 1098, will they all be reported to the IRS?
No. It will only be reported once to the IRS.
