How to get your loan file set up cleaner and faster.

It is important to follow these steps in the order listed below when using DU or LPA Seamless.  Once the loan is disclosed, brokers are no longer able to use the DU or LPA Seamless options.

  1. Create a New Loan with an FNMA 3.2 file

  2. Price and Register the loan

  3. Run DU Seamless.  If you want to use LPA, then run LPA Seamless after DU Seamless.

  4. Initiate disclosure

  5. Upload submission package

  6. Resolve the task to submit the loan for underwriting

If you forget to run DU Seamless prior to sending out the disclosure, below are some alternative options:

  • Contact your Account Executive and provide your credit report login so we can assist to re-issue credit and help finalize DU and/or LPA

  • Allow JMAC to pull new credit and run DU/LPA on our end

Other Useful Tips

  • Need a current credit report within 30 days.

  • When using the JMAC disclosure generator, have your borrower and LO consent and sign the JMAC disclosure package.

  • When originating an FHA loan, make sure the borrower has consented and signed the JMAC application which is part of the disclosure package before you order your FHA case number.

  • Documentation requirements: follow your findings on AUS agency files and, for Manhattan Jumbo, include 2 years of personal and, if applicable, business tax returns.
