Questions correspondent partners ask.
What does non-delegated mean?
Your company originates and funds the loan, while JMAC makes the underwriting decision. After closing, you deliver the loan to JMAC for purchase review. Purchase is subject to the applicable agreement and delivery requirements.
How is this different from wholesale?
In a wholesale relationship, you broker the loan to JMAC. As a non-delegated correspondent, your company closes and funds in its own name. The approval requirements and responsibilities differ, so our team will help you evaluate the right channel.
What funding arrangements do I need?
You need the ability to fund loans at closing. Discuss your warehouse facility or other funding arrangement with the correspondent team during approval.
Are all wholesale programs available?
Product availability varies by channel and partner approval. Do not assume a wholesale program is eligible for correspondent delivery. Confirm the program and current requirements with your JMAC team before submitting.
